Have been in farming all my life and around cows. Started 26 years ago taking a Dutch Training School. 1st Chute “Trimming Crush” was a hand wind Wopa 39, Over the years updated to now a fully automated, cow comfort, smooth operating Wopa 51. Have been a member and on the committee of NACFT for 23 years believing in, development, standards, appraisal, certification and the opportunity as well to be as a founder member of the ROMS and still on the committee promoting animal welfare and high standards of stockman-ship that is conveyed to the general public. Have travelled the world attending hoof trimming conferences absorbing different techniques in trimming, innovative hoof treatments and meet some amazing characters with a passion for the hoof trimming and the industry. I love to chat putting the world right and sharing jokes on the farm. I use my own app for mobility scoring and hoof trimmer and I’ve been promoting paperless recording for the last since 1999.
